Due West Education is seeking talented individuals to join our Undergraduate Admissions team as an Undergraduate Counselor based in Beijing, China.

 

About the Job

As a Counselor at Due West Education, you will play an integral role in assisting 15 high school students in their applications to US and UK colleges and universities. Your role will encompass providing guidance on all aspects of school and program applications, devising and executing plans for students’ personal and academic growth, and engaging in collaborative problem-solving to ensure students’ success.Working closely with the rest of the team, each day your focus will be building strong rapport with students, delivering reliable service, and fostering strong client relationships. Reporting directly to a Strategy Counselor, you will

  • Offer detailed, student-centric guidance on all facets of school and program applications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and execute tailored plans to foster students’ personal and intellectual development, aligning with their individual goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with our Parent Coordinators and parents, facilitating students’ development and providing regular updates to ensure exceptional client service experience.
  • Conduct regular meetings with students and families to discuss their goals and expectations, proactively addressing any challenges or concerns related to the process of applying to US and UK
  • Cooperatewith the Marketing team on student events, presentations, marketing materials, and videos.

What We Expect of You

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited American institution
  • Excellent English skills in reading, writing, and public speaking
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational, communication,and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt and desire to grow in a leadership position
  • Visa eligibility for non-Chinese citizens: minimum two years post-baccalaureate work experience
